Whale Watching

November through March marks whale watching season. Experience the magic of humpback whales swimming along the coast Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. You can witness these playful 40-ton adult mammals and their young from the beach or get a closer look on a chartered boat excursion.

The Boardwalk or ‘Malecon’

San Sebastian del Oeste

This Magical Town –name given by the Ministry of Tourism– is a 17th-century silver-mining village set in the Sierra Madre Mountain range. Surrounded by towering pine trees, the historic mountain village was once a province capital founded in 1605 and one of Mexico’s greatest centers for mining silver and gold.

Botanical Garden

The Vallarta Botanical Garden was established in the tropical highlands of Jalisco. This jewel of a place showcases many species of tropical birds and sophisticated flora species, including the most visited orchid collection in the country.
