Claudine has been part of the Velas Resorts family since 2010. In her role as Sales Associate Director and Regulatory Affairs within the Groups and Conventions division, she manages to efficiently guide clients throughout the negotiation and contract process securing strategies that focuses on developing mutually beneficial agreements.

As Northeast Regional Sales Director, Mauricio Patino brings over 20 years of expertise in hospitality, sales, marketing, and business development, contributing invaluable knowledge and innovative strategies to our organization. A distinguished leader in the MICE industry and the incoming President of the SITE Florida & Caribbean Chapter for 2025, Mauricio is celebrated for fostering meaningful relationships and creating transformative travel experiences.

Beatriz Jurs is a distinguished Senior Regional Sales Director with over 22 years of unparalleled experience in luxury hospitality, including domestic and international resort brands. Known for her exceptional creativity, innovative approach, and genuine talent, Beatriz excels in cultivating strong client relationships. Her commitment to delivering remarkable experiences consistently surpasses client expectations. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she eagerly anticipates the opportunity to collaborate with our clients.

With over 12 years in the industry, Eloisa has ample experience in sales and customer service. Half of this period was oriented towards Tour and Travel, before dedicating her skills to the MICE industry. Eloisa has been part of Groups and Conventions at Velas Resorts since 2013.

With over 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Aldair joined Velas Resorts in 2020 with the utmost goal of exceeding clients' expectations and assisting the Sales Directors team Based in the US. Recently promoted to Junior Sales Manager, his goal is to create memorable and tailor-made experiences for his clients, and provide attention to detail and the quality Velas Resorts stand for.

Ruth started her career at Velas Resorts in 2017, supporting the international Group Sales team based in the US. As Junior Sales Manager, her key goal is to provide an overall exceptional service for the meetings and incentives clients search for luxurious resort alternatives in the Groups arena. Ruth is passionate about client satisfaction and has a clear vision of success, high performance and quality improvement at every turn.

Maradeli joined Velas Resorts in 2019 and has more than 11 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Drawing from her extensive and professional background, Maradeli provides the highest level of support for clients that seek exceptional service, timely responses and a solid commitment to making their important programs an absolute success.

Susan brings over 25 years of extensive experience and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality to Velas Resorts. Her career journey started at an incentive travel company, where she honed her skills in direct sourcing, program management, and contract negotiation while serving as Managing Director. Driven by her passion for Mexico, Susan relocated to Cancún, where she thrived in the MICE group sales domain. She transitioned into the hotel industry and demonstrated exceptional leadership at a luxury resort, fostering enduring relationships with key clients. Susan's invaluable insight is pivotal in propelling Velas Resorts' ongoing growth and crafting an unparalleled luxury experience within the meetings and incentives division.

Mariely began her journey with Velas Resorts in 2016 as a capturist in the travel agency department. With her dedication and exceptional performance, she quickly ascended to the Groups and Weddings Reservations Executive role at our corporate office, where she honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the brand. She later took on the role of Sales Account Executive, further refining her expertise in client relations and event success. Mariely is now the Lead Desk Manager, leveraging her extensive experience to ensure the success of our clients' events. Committed to upholding the highest service standards, she brings professionalism and expertise to every interaction, guaranteeing memorable experiences.

Melissa has been part of Velas Resorts since 2014, with a long list of professional achievements and outstanding growth. Her client-oriented vision and ability to establish win-win negotiations have allowed her to helm the Contracting Department. Here, she ensures every contract is issued under the highest degree of care, streamlining Hotel and Client approaches and providing an efficient and satisfactory experience for all clients.

Maria joined the Corporate Contracting Department of Velas Resorts in 2018,. With more than 3 years of experience in customer service, Maria has acquired extensive knowledge to manage the contracting process and making the client's experience unique and flawless, as one of her main goals is the clients satisfaction.

With a focus on customer satisfaction and problem solving, Ricardo moved through various roles in hotel operations and soon after in Group Sales. Since his beginnings in Velas Resorts, he has demostrated high attention to detail and providing accurate proposals, site visits planning, and overall follow up with clients.

Kiara has been integral to the Velas Resorts team for the past three years. She initially joined the Velas Meetings department as a Sales Proposal Coordinator, where she quickly demonstrated her dedication and capability. Now, seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, Kiara has transitioned to the contract area. With her strong work ethic and enthusiasm, she is eager to expand her skill set and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

Norma joined the Velas Resorts family in 2011, debuting in the Central Reservations and Marketing departments. She then became part of the International Groups Sales team in 2022 as Group Sales Administrative Executive. Her vast experience within the Hospitality Industry represents a tangible asset as she strives to provide our important clients in the Meetings and Incentives Division with an enjoyable experience throughout the entire sales process.

Mauricio joined the Meetings and Incentives team at Velas Resorts as an Account Executive. Later, he took up the challenge of Marketing, where his primary role was to provide innovative and productive solutions to corporate industry partners. He is passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating lasting relationships with customers. Mauricio is always committed to continuous learning and professional development. Most recently, he has taken on the role of Sales Account Executive, further contributing to the growth and success of Velas Resorts.
